Alessa Rose Mulvaney

Alessa Rose Mulvaney is my Granddaughter. She was born an Angel on July 25th 2008. By that I mean she was apparently not meant to breath our air, she didn't cry, she didn't move, she was stillborn. This is the hardest this that has ever happened in our family. A thing we never imagined would ever happen to us. we were thrown into a world of despair. My youngest Daughter left the hospital empty handed. She had a small book with a picture, hand prints, footprints, and a lock of hair. We took no pictures we had no joy. I hate that I couldn't take pictures. What I would give to have pictures of her as we said goodbye to our Angel whom we never got to say hello to.
In my grief I turned to the internet. I became a member of a club I had never even heard of called AGAST. I also started reading about the stories of others. A little boy named William who was fighting for his life and lost that fight. That was the first time I sent balloons to heaven for someone else.
I read the story of nice lady in Austrailia that wrote names in the sand and started reading blogs.
